Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Sermon Archive, on the website at sermonarchive.org or in the Sermon Archive app for iPhone. By using it, you agree to them.
What Sermon Archive is
Sermon Archive keeps a church’s sermons, makes them searchable, and lets members take notes and talk about them with each other.
Your account
Accounts come from a church: your church invites you or lets you join. Keep your sign-in to yourself.
What you post
You are responsible for what you post, such as shared notes, replies, and reactions. Post only what you have the right to share. Notes you keep private are seen by nobody else.
Zero tolerance
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post, or use Sermon Archive to send:
- Abuse. Harassment, bullying, threats, or hate directed at anyone.
- Objectionable content. Sexual, violent, or otherwise offensive material.
- Anything unlawful. Including material that is not yours to share.
- Spam. Advertising, or the same message posted over and over.
Reports and blocking
You can report a post or block a person. After a block, neither of you sees the other’s notes, replies, or reactions, though those who moderate you still see yours.
Each church’s Owners review reports, and a group’s managers review reports about what members say in their group. We act on reports within 24 hours, by removing the content and, where needed, removing the person who posted it.
AI features
Outlines, summaries, and answers are written by AI from the sermon’s transcript, and may contain mistakes. Check what matters against the recording.
Ending your use
You can stop using Sermon Archive at any time. To delete your account, choose Account → Delete account: it is erased 7 days later, and you can cancel until then. A church, or we, may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and may remove what it posted.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. Using Sermon Archive after a change means you accept it.
